After publishing her first book in the spring of 2024, Nightshade launched her business later that year.
The Writing Desk is a community for indie authors and bookish business owners, open for collaborations, advice, and commissions. Whether you need book merch, a dazzling cover, or editing services, Nightshade's goal is to be able to provide you with or put you in contact with who you may need for the job!
~The work~
Though Nightshade majorly writes fantasy and romance, she also loves to dive into sci-fi, mystery, songwriting and poetry elements as well. It's a common occurrence for her work to exist in the grey area between genres and tropes.
Everything for her books is done in house. Having received a degree in English and Communcations all the editing, proofreading and formatting are done over a 3-5 month period for each book she releases.
